  • WV Music Director Brant Challacombe and Rosana Lewis were married on October 8, 2011 in Topeka, Kansas. Congratulations!
  • Charlie Alterman (WV) is music director/conductor of Godspell on Broadway after a great run with Next to Normal.
  • WV Music Director Elaina Cope and Mark Krakauer were married the day after Hurricane Irene swept across the East Coast.

Alumni Weekend: August 5-7! PDF Print E-mail

Whitefield, NH will be the center of the universe this August when the Weathervane Theatre Alumni present their annual Alumni Show August 5 - 7

Weathervane alums from around the world will be convering on northern New Hampshire to participate in the 11th Annual WVAA Alumni Weekend, which will culminate in this year’s production, “Chicago Burlesque Cabaret, Oh My!”, under the direction of  Jennifer Neuland-Gerlach.  WVAA Vice President Nanette DeWester has put together a wonderful program of events that include all Weathervaners and their families/significant others. (The kids have a great time!)  So pack up the car, hitch a ride or  hop aboard the crop duster  to Manchester and join us for what is sure to be a memorable, fun and artistically pleasing weekend!  Here’s the plan:

Friday, August 5

6PM Cocktails on the porch of the Mountain View Grand Resort and Spa, Mountain View Road, Whitefield.  Come early, stay late—you know who’ll be there for last call.

8PM  Mainstage-25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee

Saturday, August 6

12:30PM WVAA Annual Meeting at Grange Hall.  Come and share information  on the   alumni association’s plans for the future.  Lunch will be served.

2PM Mainstage-The Music Man
